Menomagic Launch Night on World Menopause Day, 2018

On Thursday 18th October, Cheltenham was overflowing with people from all over to visit the new John Lewis and Partners, but there was another launch event that evening – menomagic. Mum came down from Lancashire to help and did a great job as our advocate - she was able to give real insight into how menomagic works for her, and about the story of its development.


It’s been almost 12 months since I was asked, independently, by mum, friends and reflexology clients about creating a blended cream to help with menopausal hot flushes and night sweats. Poor mum has suffered terribly and always wanted a natural solution, rather than some of the other options available at the moment. So, after refining the blend and using her as the willing guinea pig, we’ve finally arrived at launch night, where menomagic is now available for purchase all across the UK via this website!


Mum and I were thrilled that The Find Coffee House, in Cheltenham, was able to host our private launch event to showcase the product to our family, friends, and press. We were able to explain how the cream makes use of a blend of four essential oils; Peppermint to cool, Rose Geranium to uplift moods, Lavender to calm, and Clary Sage to rebalance hormones - we added a few more questions to our FAQ page as a result of some great feedback.


It was exciting to see so many people that had never tried the cream experience its effects for the first time. It was the perfect opportunity to see whether menomagic could work for them – we're pleased to say it did! Between mingling and drinking some lovely Kir Royales we even took a couple of orders at our discounted rate (5% off for purchases of 3 or more or 10% off for purchases of 5 or more)


But, the effects were interesting. When we trialled the cream with a group of 48 women, we’d suggested to apply it to their inner wrists and rub together as soon as a hot flush started, to experience the cooling, calming and rebalancing effects. However, launch night provided us with more great tips: one lady said that for her applying some to the top of her hand enhanced the cream’s effects. When you purchase your menomagic, we’d like to encourage you to test it out on pulse points, such as behind the ears, to see where it helps you most and let us know how you get on!


In the next few months, we will be approaching local stockists to make sure you have more ways to purchase menomagic, rather than just online. Mum and I were so pleased though that all the stock we had taken was sold by the end of the evening - it's so interesting (and reassuring) how we've watched sales ripple out from Gloucestershire to Bristol, Devon and Oxfordshire as word of mouth has spread! We're seeing that our most popular first time purchase is the single dispenser which we've set at an Introductory Offer price of just £15 + P&P.
